Oscar G. Perez's Obituary
Oscar G. Perez, joined our Lord in heaven on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 75 years old. Oscar was born on November 24, 1950, to his parents Guillermo and Francisca Perez in Kenedy, Texas. Oscar biggest hobby was hunting with his brother and nephews. He enjoyed the serenity of the long drives in the country. He was retired from City of San Antonio. Most of all he was a very devoted family man. He is survived by his wife Yolanda C. Perez- loving marriage of fifty-two years, two children Sarah Lee Acosta (Joe), and Oscar C. Perez Jr., two grandchildren Kristen Lee Oretga (Nicholas), and Samuel James Victon; two great grandchildren Matthew James Ortega, and Aaron Jessus Ortega; his siblings: Arturo Perez (Alicia), Elia Navarrette, and Rosalinda Nieto, also numerous nieces and nephews, his brother-in-law and best friend Robert Chapa. He was preceded in death by his parents Guillermo and Francisca Perez, brother Guillermo Perez Jr., and sister Rosario Sanchez.
A visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, we will have a Funeral Service at Southside Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow to First Memorial Park Cemetery.
