Oscar S. Garcia, born on June 7, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas passed away on January 21, 2026 in Von Ormy, Texas at the age of 75. Oscar is survived by his wife, Maria Garcia; children, Elvira Oviedo (Edward), Elia Aitmerim (Said), Elida Araujo (Joseph), Rene Salas (Monique), Ralph Ortiz, Ruben Ortiz (Anne), Ron Ortiz (Laura), Randy Ortiz (Mary), Robert Ortiz (Crystal), Rene Ortiz (Cynthia), and Juan Mendoza (Marion); siblings, Francisco Garcia, Jr., Yolanda Mendoza, Ralph Garcia, and Aurora Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews, and other family, Robert Girela, Irma Garcia, Santiago Sanchez, Andres Sanchez, Graciela Sanchez, and Charlotte Gonzales. He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Garcia; mother, Maria S. Garcia; brother, Francisco Garcia, Jr.; Robert Girela, Santiago and Andres Sanchez.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Camero Funeral Home with a roasary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Final visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Camero Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. with procession to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
