All my childhood memories are around the Salas brothers. I remember meeting Orlando for the first time as he was new to Somerset elementary and we became fast friends. He would invite me to their family outings like the Fiesta Carnival or Roller Skating. I remember one day Mr. Salas took us Roller Skating and it was my first time so I was very careful not to fall. Orlando and Aaron took me to the middle of the rink with care and I was thinking to myself, what good friends, but they were actually aiming me towards a line of girls and pushed me in their direction. I was screaming to the girls to move because I didn't know how to stop. Then I crashed into these girls and some fell on top of me. As I turned to see Orlando and Aaron, they were both laughing their heads off....When I heard the news about Orlando's passing, I come to realize how fragile life is, that we all should live life to the fullest and how precious memories are. Thank you to the Salas family for all the precious memories and to Orlando. May you rest in peace and one day we'll see each other in the big Roller Skating rink in heaven.
Your friend forever,
