Olga Yvonne O'Connor's Obituary
Olga Yvonne O’Connor passed away on November 21, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 16, 1970, to Alejandro Hernandez and Maria Olga Spanley, Yvonne was a beacon of light. She proudly served in the Army Reserve for 7 years. She loved her family and friends fiercely. She will always be known for her strong and joyful spirit.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Olga Spanley.
Yvonne is survived by her loving husband, Patrick O’Connor; sons, Patrick O’Connor Jr. and Joseph O’Connor; father, Alejandro Hernandez; sisters Jacqueline (Steve) Garcia, and Georgina Hernandez; nieces, Victoria Garcia (Richard Morua), Stephanie Garcia, and Cynthia Garcia; nephews, Edward (Danielle) Mejia, and Logan Mejia; and great-niece, Elliana Morua. Yvonne is also survived by her aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, extended family, and dear friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, a visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m. and a funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church (4222 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227). The committal service is to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery (20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073).
