Nicolas Antonio Camacho's Obituary
If you don’t recall hearing a loud “Amen” from the left side of the church recently it’sbecause Nicolas Antonio Camacho is now saying, “Amen” before the throne of TheAlmighty God. He could never hold back his excitement as the Word of God waspreached, now he stands in the very presence of the Living Word. The Father called hisfaithful servant home on January 25, 2016, at 9:55pm. Surrounded by his family andclosest friends he, by the grace of God, transcended the cancer that afflicted his body.Nick left behind the priceless inheritance of his Legacy to his beautiful wife of 43 years,Carolina Camacho, and to His Son’s and Daughter’s: Nicolas Jr. and Veronica Camacho,Steven and Jessica Camacho, Anita and Daniel Limon and his 10 grandchildren (Celeste,Jalen, and Bethany Camacho, Zachary Zamora, Isis, Devon, and Amaris Camacho, Isaac,Caleb, and Kaitlyn Limon) which were his pride and joy. His legacy will continue forgenerations to come. He is also survived by his Brother Florentino Camacho Jr, and hissisters, Mary Helen Macal, Rosa Macal, Sylvia Martinez, Alicia Mendez, and many inlaws,nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to list, but not forgotten. Nickserved as a Specialist 4 in the United States Army, was a Vietnam Veteran, and wasdischarged with honor. He worked in civil service as a Jet Engine Mechanic/Inspector,and retired after 26 years from Kelly AFB. Nick Camacho provided well for his family,but he may be remembered more for his character than for his career. Nick Camachoknew what was important in life. He expressed his love by doing for others and giving ofhis time. From washing the dishes to rebuilding their home, Nick always cared for hiswife. Together they built their family on the sure foundation of faithfulness, prayer, anda passion for God and His Word. Nick loved the Word of God and it flowed out of himlike of river of living water. Some people google when they can’t remember a verse in thebible, but those who knew Brother Nick would call him and get chapter, verse, andcommentary. He was always on time, true to his word, and was never afraid of hardwork. Nicolas A. Camacho showed by example of what a husband, father, friend, andman of God should always be. He was greatly loved, and will be greatly missed.
