Nicolas Alcoser's Obituary
Nicolas Alcoser, born March 14, 1935 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his parents,Vicente and Elena Alcoser; daughter, Rosa Barrera; son in law; Carlos Barrera; brothers, Carlos Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Clemente Alcoser, Marcelino Alcoser, Teofilo Alcoser; sisters, Marcelina Mancha, Felicita Faz and Margarita Alcoser. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Adela Alcoser; children, Raul Alcoser, Janie Llamas (Joe Llamas), Simon Alcoser (Alma Alcoser) Margarita Sanchez (Larry Sanchez), Ernesto Alcoser (Brenda Alcoser), and Maria Alcoser; brothers in law, Abelardo Faz and Rey Faz; 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Nicolas is remembered for his devotion to his grandchildren and for his love of yard work. He always ensured that his yard was well maintained. Visitation will begin Sunday, January 24, 2016 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 274 Avenue H, Poteet, Texas 78065 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service to be held that same day. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Poteet, Texas. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 State Hwy 16 South, Von Ormy, Texas 78083. Arrangements under the direction of Camero Funeral Home.
