Naomi Arlene Ferguson's Obituary
01-08-1922 to 03-20-2015 Naomi Arlene Ferguson, 93, formerly of Loveland, CO passed away February 20, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas after a brief illness. Naomi was born January 8, 1922 to Herman and Leona Bartz in Osage County, Kansas. She graduated from Cawker City, Kansas High School in 1942. She married Daniel Ferguson in Beloit, Kansas in 1944, they settled in Hayward, California. Dan served in the Navy during World War II. She lived and worked there while Dan served and after Dan came home from the service they continued to reside there until 1947 when they moved to Kerrville, Texas. They had 2 sons, Gary and Richard. Dan passed away in 1962. A few years later after her sons were older and married she moved to Loveland, Colorado to live with and take care of her mother. She was a very loving and caring person and was ALWAYS there for anyone in need, both young and old. She served many years in the nursery at First Methodist Church. In 2012 she moved to Texas to live with Gary, her oldest son. Naomi proceeded in death by her parents, husband Dan and her sons Gary Ferguson and Richard Ferguson (with great sadness), her brother Dale Bartz, grandson Ricky Ferguson and a grandson-in-law David Martinez. Naomi is survived by her sisters Wilma(Jim)McDonough and Lavina Schmidt, grandchildren Daniel (Summer)Ferguson, Amy(Eddie)Baltazar, Cathy(Joe)Kindla and Patricia Martinez, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services are being held in Von Ormy, Texas on March 24, 2015 at Camero Funeral Chapel at 6pm along with her sons Gary and Richard. Family will start receiving visitors at 4pm. Internment will follow at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas to be reunited with her husband.
