Minerva Escalera Benavides' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we wish to inform you of the passing of Minerva Escalera Benavides, age 64. Mrs. Benavides is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born January 19, 1956 to Mr. and Mrs. Fernando and Valentina Escalera. Mrs. Benavides is loved and missed by those who survived her beginning with her loving husband, Gilbert G. Benavides; daughters, MaryAnn Bell (Steven Bell), and Cynthia Ann Benavides; grandchildren, Elijah B. Guerra, Lilliana K. Guerra, Nikolas I. Guerra, Michael E. Guerra, and Christian G. Guerra. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rosanne Benavides Kelley. She loved music and dancing, spending time with her grandchildren, and The Wizard of Oz. A graveside service will be held at First Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 10 a.m. Services under the care and direction of Camero Funeral Home at City Base.
