Milton Young Jones, Jr.'s Obituary
Milton Young Jones Jr., March 12, 1944 - March 7, 2018, the son of Milton and Jewel Jones. As a lifetime resident of San Antonio, graduated from Alamo Heights in 1963, served in the Army in 1966-1967 and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart during his Vietnam tour. He owned Jones Furniture on Blanco Road for many years. After his retirement from the US post office in 2006, he spent many loving hours hunting, fishing and travelling with friends and family.
He is survived by two sisters of San Antonio, Elaine Sackville-West (Jack); nieces LaRae Marks (Derek) and Courtney Fernandez (Dan) in WA state; Janice Gentry; nieces, Melissa and Tracie. He is also survived by his partner in life, Evelyn King and her sons Justin and Nathan.

A committal service with full military honors will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on March 28, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. Services and care under the direction of Alamo Brooks Funeral Home.
