Miguel Salinas' Obituary
Miguel Salinas Sr. was born September 21, 1958 to David Salinas and Maria Martinez in San Antonio, Texas. Miguel passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the age of 62. Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife, Mary E. Salinas; Siblings, David Adalberto Salinas(Julie), Maria San Juana Salinas-Guiterrez, Antonio Salinas, Maria Del Rosario S. Escalante(Johnny), Andres Santos Salinas(Carmen), Daniel(Lito) Salinas(Lorena), and Bernardo Salina (Juanita). Children, Mike Jr(Jennifer), Steven, Roy and Roxanne(Miguel) Salinas as well as by his Grandchildren Izlynn, Nathan, Sariah, Jeremiah, Hailee Dean, Jaeleen, Steven, Jahnae, and Beatriz who he all loved very much. Miguel was known by family and friends as Mike, Mickey or Tex. He was a Master Plumber and built his own business in the construction and plumbing industry. Mr. Salinas also built custom homes, as well as remodeling his own home. You could also find Miguel giving a helping hand to his friends and neighbors with their own homes in his free-time, always willing to help someone in need. Miguels hobbies included fixing his beautiful 67’ Camaro and tuning up his other cars, always keep them in tip-top shape. Miguel enjoyed listening to ZZ Top, Grandfunk, and Christian music. Miguel also loved playing songs on his guitars. On sundays you could find Miguel enjoying some BBQ with his family and watching his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys. Miguel was a Dallas Cowboys fan for many years. Miguel was never afraid to jump into action to help someone as he strongly believed in helping others. Miguel was very giving, friendly, and creative. Throughout Mr. Salinas’s life you could always find him dressing up like a cowboy in his blue jeans, boots and his iconic cowboy hat. Miguel had a burning love for his grandchildren. You could see Miguel light up instantly when his grandkids would come running to him. Miguel was a family man as he had many nicknames for his kids and grandkids.
Miguel has lived a great life of giving here on earth as a friend, father, grandfather, and beloved husband.
