Micaela A. Leon's Obituary
Micaela Leon, born on November 21, 1935, peacefully passed away on February 15, 2024. She is survived by her loving children, Phillip John Leon Jr and Marie Evelyn Wilson. Micaela also leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her grandchildren, Jose Fernandez Jr, Marie Bagwell, Jacob Wilson, Vanessa Leon, Ashley Garcia – Leon, Alyssa Leon & Phillip Leon III, and her 13 great-grandchildren.
Micaela was not only a devoted mother and grandmother but also a cherished sister to her surviving siblings Esperanza (Hope) Rodriguez, Jose Gabriel, Lydia Jaramillo, Juan Gabriel, Frank Gabriel, Robert Gabriel & Rudy Gabriel. She was also adored by her nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart.
Micaela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip John Leon Sr, her parents, Jose Gabriel, & Carmen Flores - Gabriel and her siblings Jesse Gabriel, Paul Gabriel, Mary Gabriel & Clifford Gabriel.
She found great joy in cooking delicious meals, reading the Bible, and cheering for her favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and SA Spurs. Micaela's faith in Christ was a central part of her life, and she dedicated herself to teaching others about His love. Known for her infectious laughter and bubbly personality, Micaela had a special gift for brightening any room she entered. Her friends and family were always greeted with warmth, kindness, and a home filled with love. Micaela's impact on the lives of those around her was immeasurable.
While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
