Maurilio Gonzalez Garza born to Maurilio Rodriguez Garza and Josefina Gonzalez Garza in Mexico passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the age of 72 years. Mr. Garza was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Guadalupe Garza. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosa Charles Garza; son, Maurilio Garza, Jr. and wife, Julie G. Garza; daughter, Patricia Garza and husband, Richard Garcia; and son, Damian Garza and wife, Daisy Ruelas Garza; brothers, Javier Garza, Jose Luis Garza and Ruben Garza; sisters, Maria Chavez and Josefina Avalos; 5 grandchildren, Kaitlynn Sonnenschein, Tristan Garcia, Izaac Garza, Nova Garza, and Jonah Garza; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Garza was a devoted husband and father who loved his family. He was a people person, lending a helping hand when he could. He was always smiling and had a sense of humor. He liked to read the paper, watch sports, and loved to cook. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Visitation will begin on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will be held on Monday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
