MaryAnn Gonzales' Obituary
MaryAnn Gonzales born to Henry and Mary Lou Hernandez in Winslow, Arizona went to be with our Lord and entered eternal rest on January 25, 2022, at the age of 71.
MaryAnn had a bachelor's degree in theology and tried to serve the Lord in any way she could. She was dedicated to her church and also involved with the Guadalupana's.
MaryAnn was also a retired teacher with 25 years in the education field. She had a bachelor's degree in Special Needs Education for children and was in fraternity Phi Beta Kappa. MaryAnn proudly graduated with honors from Texas A&M in Kingsville.
MaryAnn was an amazing writer and reader. She passed on her love of literature to her children and grandchildren.
MaryAnn is preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Jr. and Frank Hernandez. She is survived by her sisters, Geri Obert, Kathy (Dan) Cherrier, Theresa (Rodney) Privatt and Laura Hernandez; son, Eutimio "Tony" Gonzales; daughters, Maria "Angie" Gonzales, Diana Gonzales, Sandra (Cesar) Kela; grandchildren, Joseph, Ashley, Justin, Mark, Aaron, Alyssa, Isabella, Christian, Hannah, Cesar III, Mia, Mari, Marcus; great grandchildren, Noah, Mark Jr., Giovanni and Lilith. She is also survived by her ex husband Eutimio "Chino" Gonzales and numerous nieces and nephews.
MaryAnn Gonzales was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and great friend to anyone that crossed her path. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
