Mary Nelda Garcia-Lugo
July 17, 1968 - August 26, 2024
Mary Nelda Garcia was born in Edinburg Texas on July 17, 1968. she was born to Juan P. Garcia and Rebecca G.Garcia. She is proceeded in death by her father Juan P. Garcia and survived by her mother Rebecca G. Garcia, her sisters Maryann Garcia Guzman, Corina Garcia, Jessica Garcia Guillen, and brother's Johnny Garcia, David Garcia, Michael Garcia, daughter Isabel Garcia and Son Ignacio Garcia. She was a loving wife to Daniel Lugo and a loving mother to Ignacio Garcia and Isabel Garcia, she was a loving step mom to Annalee Lugo and Daniel Lugo Jr. She was also a proud Grandma to Audiana Villalobos. She adored all her kids in many different ways and spoke wisdom and guidance with strength and warmth behind her words.
She was always a phone call away.
Nelda was a strong, bright woman, she graduated from Tri-City School of Vocational Nursing on December 16,1998. She was a dedicated hard working nurse for 20+ years. Her Class Motto was a quote from the song "The River" by Garth Brooks
As the bird trims her to sale.
I trim myself to the storm of time.
I man the rubber, reef the sail,
Obey the voice at eve obeyed at prime;
"Lowly faithful, banish fear,
Right onward dive unharmed;
