Mary P. Buentello's Obituary
Mary P. Buentello, born April 7, 1938 in Poteet, Texas to Hipolito Perez and Angelita Herrera Perez passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 surrounded by her family at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Buentello was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Buentello, Sr. and son, Jesse Ray Perez. She is survived by her sons, Robert R. Buentello (Terri) and Martin Buentello (Rebecca); brother, Aurelio Perez and Hipolito Perez; sisters, Elena Santos, Josephina Gomez, and Nora Gonzalez; grandchildren, Marissa Renee Garza (Anthony), Ashley Nicole De La Garza (Manuel), and Alyssa Marie Buentello; great-grandchildren, Madisynn Rae De La Garza, Maecee Raelyn De La Garza, Milaynee Raean De La Garza, Madden Zane De La Garza, Adaleena Jo Garza, and Marceus Jayce Garza; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. Mrs. Buentello loved spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and baker. She catered many affairs and was well known for her wedding cakes. She was kind hearted and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 274 Avenue H in Poteet. A Rosary Service will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Church. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 12:00 noon at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. Everyone is to meet at Church. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
