Mark Randy Laque's Obituary
Mark Randy Laque, born on March 8, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the age of 59.
Randy was born to Narcisa Herrera Laque and Jesus Sanchez Laque. Randy lived in Somerset, Texas his entire life. Randy graduated from Somerset High School in 1983, attended Palo Alto College and was a Dean's List recipient.
Randy was a former Somerset ISD school bus driver for numerous years. He was a huge Somerset Bulldog fan and great supporter. He was a volunteer in the Somerset Band Booster in memory of his siblings who were former Band members and in honor of a student friend Elizabeth Marisol Davalos, former Band Member/Drum Major. His hobby was carpentry and an avid music lover.
Randy is preceded in death by his father Jesus Sanchez Laque, mother Narcisa Herrera Laque, Brother, Johnny Laque, Sister Pauline Laque Gomez, and Sister Aurora (Dora) Laque Hernandez, and Brother in law John Rodriguez.
He is survived by Sister, Mary Helen Laque Rodriguez, Sister Rosie Laque Ortegon, husband Mauro Ortegon, Brother Paul Laque, Sister Josephine Laque Meyers, husband Don Meyers, Sister Irene Laque Hernandez, husband Fermin Hernandez, brother Roy Laque, wife Margaret Laque, partner Elizabeth Hernandez and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Camero Funeral Home, 20567 Hwy 16, Von Ormy, TX.
Visitation on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at 10:30 a.m. at St Mary's Cemetery, 170 Bexar Rd., Somerset, Tx.
