Marie Blankenship born, October 28, 1942 to Hugh and Gracie Cantrell in Cooper, Texas passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 in Jourdanton, Texas at the age of 72 years. Ms. Blankenship was preceded in death by her sister, Dollie Hoover. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Buckner; sons, Jim Captain and Michael Brooks; sisters, Nettie Gilbert and Virginia Brabenec; brother, Jim Cantrell; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild on the way. Visitation will begin on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will be held Friday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at the Somerset Baptist Church, 19961 Somerset Rd., Somerset, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. and burial will follow at Bexar Cemetery, Somerset, Texas. You are invited to sign the on-line register book at www.camerofuneralhome.com.
