Maria C. Valerio entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born on July 30, 1951, in Charlotte, Texas. Maria was devoted to God and family. She attended church regularly and enjoyed praising our Lord. She cherished her family time and loved to visit her husband at the nursing home. Maria enjoyed creating memories with her family. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her and loved her. She is reunited in heaven with Jose Luis Balderas (Brother), Alicia Donnell (Sister), Jesus Balderas (Dad), Angelita Casares (Mom) Spouse of
Jose Valerio for 10 years. Maria is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her children Yolanda Mireles & son in law Frank Mireles
Sally Maldonado & son in law Edward Maldonado, Grandchildren Kimberly Mireles (Johnny),Frank Mireles, Edward Maldonado (Nancey),Samantha Maldonado (Gilbert), Stephanie Trevino (Joe),Great grandchildren Jayden, Aubriana, Arabella, Kash, Aymrie, Kaleb, Elijah, Ezra, Isiah, Josiah, siblings Maria D Balderas (Sister),Jesse Balderas (Brother),Jose Balderas (Brother), plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be recited at 6 p.m. On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the family will meet friends at First Memorial Burial Park for a 10 a.m. graveside service.
