Maria Guadalupe (Lupe) Santellan
Maria Guadalupe (Lupe) Santellan, age 68, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on September 20, 1957, to Isidoro C. Santellan and Juanita Ayala Santellan. She was the third child among eight siblings. Isidoro A. Santellan Jr, Susana San Miguel, Raul Santellan, Juan (Casper) Santellan, Elena S. (Helen) Trejo, Dolores Delgado, Oscar (Freddy) Santellan.
She was briefly married to Ruben Medrano in her early twenties, later in life, she shared long-term relationships with two other partners.
She is survived by her children: Yvonne M Lugo, Raul Treviño Jr and Jose Manuel (Joey) Treviño.
She was blessed with many grandchildren: Cesar Lugo Jr, Issac R. Lugo, April Rose Lugo, Diamond Treviño, Raul Treviño III, Kassidy Treviño, Juliet Leeann Treviño, Jose Manuel Treviño Jr, Jacob Isaiah Treviño, Jeremy Matthew Treviño, Jose Angel Treviño, John Anthony Treviño, Damien Treviño, Amor Mia Treviño.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Cesar (Enzo) Lugo, Ivy Rae Gonzales, Isaiah Elliot Lugo, Gloria Lucia Lugo, Rosie Galilea Lugo, Rylie Yvonne Gonzales, Elijah Issac Lugo, Cylus Treviño.
For 52 years she lived courageously with Lupus, facing every challenge with strength and grace. She never let her disease stop her from living her life. She had deep love for her Chihuahua dogs, especially her dog Chiquis, who brought her companionship and joy. She loved the color blue, loved to dance and found joy in cooking meals to her family and friends. She loved to watch her Novelas and had great love to her Virgin of Guadalupe.
She is survived by her mother Juanita Ayala Santellan, sisters, Susana San Miguel, Elena S. (Helen) Trejo, Dolores Delgado and lots of nieces and nephews.
Lupe was preceded in death by her father, Isidoro C. Santellan, Brothers, Oscar (Freddy) Santellan, Raul Santellan and Juan (Casper) Santellan.
