Maria H. Hernandez's Obituary
Maria H. Hernandez, born March 15, 1937 passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Von Ormy, Texas at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband, Marcos Hernandez, Jr., father, Daniel Herrera, mother, Maria G. Herrera, sister, Olivia, brothers, Gregory, Joe and Rudy, and grandson, Eloy Levi Mitchell. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Hernandez Mitchell; son, Lupe Hernandez; brother, Daniel Herrera; sisters, Janie Gutierrez and Gloria Calderon; grandchildren, Jayme Hernandez and Ernesto Garcia; also numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Mrs. Hernandez was strong in her faith with God. She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley. She also liked to work in her yard. Mrs. Hernandez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary Service will be held Tuesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will depart on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rambie Grove Cemetery, Von Ormy.
