Maria Graciela Gamez's Obituary
Maria Graciela Gamez was born December 27, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas to Aurelia and Rosalio Flores. Maria passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 71 years old. Maria enjoyed gardening, you would often find her in her yard, she also enjoyed cooking for her family, watching Novelas and she loved Juan Gabriel. She was a “jokester”, she enjoyed joking around with her grandchildren and spending time with them. She attended all their sports activities. Maria always looked her best, she made sure her hair and nails were always done. Every morning Maria would call her sister and her friends whom she enjoyed spending time with. She loved to travel whenever she had a chance, she visited Cozumel, California, Las Vegas and for her last trip she was able to go on a seven-day cruise taking her to Belize, Mahogany Bay and Cozumel once again. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband George H. Gamez with whom she shared 52 loving years of marriage; grandsons Tony Duron Jr., Joshua Edward Trinidad; son-in-law Edward James Trinidad; parents Aurelia and Rosalio Flores; her in-laws Hortencia and Martin Gamez; siblings Raul Flores, Roberto Flores, Angelina Flores and David Flores. She is survived by her children; Rachel Herrera (Stephen), Hortencia Duron (Tony), Patricia Trinidad (PID Edward James Trinidad), George Gamez Jr. (Dianna), Melissa Gamez(Jason); grandchildren Jonathan, Eric, Jennifer, Natasha, Jason (Pee-Wee), Aaron, Tayla, Ryan, Rhiannon, Katelyn, Donovan, and Justine; great grandchildren Ava Grace, Ariella Rose, Jaelynn Grace, Kailine Klaire, Baby Tony III, Eliana and Mason Beau; siblings Maria Elena Isaac and Rosalio Flores Jr., as well as numerous family and friends. Maria was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
