Maria Elsa Rosales Reyes “Rata” born September 17, 1953 passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Poteet, Texas at the age of 66 years. Maria Elsa was preceded in death by her Parents Jesus and Augustina Deleon Rosales, Brother Leo Rosales, Nephews Jesse Rosales III and Rocky Rosales, and her Grandson Gary Turnbull Jr. Mrs. Reyes is survived by her loving Husband, Reynaldo Herrera Reyes Sr.; Daughters, Lucia Butler (Wilson) and Jessica R. Turnbull (Gary Sr.); Grandchildren, Jeremy Butler (Miranda), Jealousy Butler, Eagle-Eye Butler (Jasmine), Marc Turnbull (Mariah), and Jordan Turnbull; Great Grandchildren, Hazel Butler, Hailee Butler, Constantine Butler, Ramesses Butler, Dean Turnbull, Everly Turnbull, and Great Grandchild on the way Eagle-Eye Eileen Butler. She is also survived by her Siblings Ramon DeLeon, Rosa Elkins, Jesse Rosales II, and Robert Rosales Sr.
Maria loved many things in life but her main passions were cooking for her family, crafting and tending to her plants. She loved to spoil her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren anytime they went shopping together. She had a heart of gold and could never tell them no. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home chapel.
