Maria Elena Canamar Villalobos' Obituary
Maria Elena Cañamar Villalobos, born on February 1, 1958, in Reynosa, Mexico, entered eternal rest on April 2, 2026, at the age of 68.
Maria Elena was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was guided by faith, love, and compassion. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her strength, and her unwavering dedication to her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Francisco and Maria Cañamar; son, Abraham Villalobos; brother, Ruben Canamar.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Raymundo Villalobos; her children, Jose Angel Villalobos, Gabriela V. Hernandez, and Daniel Villalobos; her brother, Tino Cañamar; her sisters, Aracely Olvera and Amanda Berlanga; and her treasured grandchildren, Diamond Villalobos, Angelina Villalobos, Benny J. Cervantes, Arissa Rodriguez, Anthony J. Rodriguez, Samantha Hernandez, Nicolas Hernandez, Lauren Villalobos, Vincent Villalobos, and Lilly Villalobos. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM in the Ortiz Mortuary Chapel A.
A procession will depart the following day at 9:15 AM for a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
Maria Elena’s faith and love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
