Margarita Uribe's Obituary
Margarita "Peleonera" Uribe
Was a radiant spirit born on December 10,1938 and left us on March 12,2025 to join her loving viejito (old man) Apolonio Uribe as well as her 2 children, Elizabeth Salas and Juan Garcia. She was the last surviving of her siblings. She is survived by Ramiro Salas (son in law), grandchildren Angela and Angelia Salas, Elsa Acosta (daughter) and Apolonio Uribe Jr. (son). Margarita loved going to the casino, organizing her jewelry, knitting and spending time with family. She loved to argue, hence the nickname, but she was also a fighter. She fought her way to get to where she was in life. From going to school with no shoes, dropping out at 2nd grade to help around the household, working as an elevator operator, to creating a family of her own and struggling but yet making ends meet. She was a strong fearless and fierce woman, who will be missed very dearly and never forgotten. Proverbs 31:25 “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Camero Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m.
