Margarita R. Guzman's Obituary
Margarita Guzman, aged 91, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on August 31, 2024. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful church congregant, Margarita's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and commitment to her family and community.
Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Dina Guillen (James) and Anna Bien-Aime (Berthony), and her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa Guillen, Faith Martinez, and Aaron Martinez. She is also survived by her siblings: Elia Ramos, Enriqueta Ortiz, and Alfredo Rodriguez.
For over 60 years, Margarita dedicated her life to serving her church, Iglesia Bautista Monte de Las Olivas, where she was a passionate Sunday school teacher. Her love for teaching children, bringing people to the Lord through her ministry of prayer and song, and her unwavering commitment to the church were hallmarks of her life. Margarita always looked forward to being in the house of the Lord and was a beacon of love and faith to all who knew her.
Margarita will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, service, and genuine faith will continue to inspire us, and we are grateful to the Lord for her beautiful life.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 8:45am-10:30am at Delgado Funeral Home (2200 W. Martin St, San Antonio, Texas 78207) with the service to begin at 9:00am. A Graveside service will begin at 11:15am at First Memorial Park Cemetery (20567 Tx-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073).
