Margarita Villa Ferniz's Obituary
Margarita Villa Ferniz passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 3, 2024 at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leopoldo T. Ferniz Jr., her daughter Lupita Ferniz, father, Jose T. Villa and mother, Adriana V. Garza. She is survived by her sons; Leopoldo Ferniz III (Joann Ferniz), Luis A. Ferniz (Ana Laura Ferniz), daughter, Blanca M. Diaz (Jorge Diaz), brothers, Antonio Villa, Manuel Villa (Dora Villa), sisters, Virginia Villa, Annie Hidrogo (Moses Hidrogo), Lillie Munoz (Hector Munoz), 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, other family members, and dear friends. Margarita was a seamstress all her life. She enjoyed sewing and continued her passion even after retiring. She enjoyed making alternations, making various clothing and costumes for family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening. She had orange trees, fig trees, and many plants. Margarita enjoyed traveling to different destinations to visit and care for family. She also enjoyed cooking for family for everyone!
Margarita is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, August 10, 2024, visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
