Marcelo Cruz "GiGi" Jr.'s Obituary
Marcelo Cruz, Jr., known as "GiGi", born on September 23, 1952 in Atascosa County, Texas, went to be with our Lord and savior on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the age of 72. GiGi is preceded in death by his parents, Gertrudes Cruz and Marcelo G. Cruz, Sr.; and siblings, Jesus Cruz, Eddie Cruz, and Marissa Cruz. He is survived by his siblings, Margarita Garcia and husband Valente Garcia, Janie Santos and husband Ruben Santos, Sr., Lupe Herrera and husband Jesus Herrera, and Joe Cruz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at Camero Funeral Home with services to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial is to follow at San Jose Cemetery in Jourdanton, Texas.
