Marcelino P. Ortega's Obituary
Marcelino P. Ortega, born April 15, 1932 to Guadalupe Ortega Viramontes and Maurilia Perez Frias Ortega, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the age of 86 years surrounded by his family. Mr. Ortega was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia Flemate de Ortega. He is survived by his sons, Nicolas Ortega, Emilio Ortega, Manuel Ortega, and Juan Gabriel Ortega; daughters, Maria Olga Ramirez, Rosa Ortega, Margarita Ortega, and Maria De Jesus Medina; sisters, Elisa Martinez, Maria Guadalupe Covarrubias, Maria Del Carmen Gonzalez, and Maria Gonzalez; 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mr. Ortega was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was strong in his faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held Tuesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at St. Joseph’s So. San Catholic Church, 535 New Laredo Hwy. Everyone is asked to meet at the Church for services.
