Marcelino G. Estrada's Obituary
Marcelino G. Estrada, born November 14, 1947 to parents ,Reyes Santos Estrada and Estella Estrada(Garcia), passed away on March 01, 2023 at the age of 75 years.
Marcelino was preceded in death by his loving wife of 20 years, Eliberta Maldonado, who just recently passed on November 17, 2022. He is also preceded in death by both parents, Reyes and Estella Estrada and his daughter, Jaqueline "Jaquie" Estrada Contreras. Marcelino is survived by brothers, Reyes Ricardo Estrada and Juan Reyes Estrada; sister, Teresa Garcia; daughters, Josette Lindsey(John) and Emily Estrada; sons, Marcelino Estrada, JR(Cecilia), Ricardo S. Contreras(Brandi) and Brandon Estrada. He is also survived by his wonderful aunts, uncles and their beautiful families, along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren; many of whom he loved spending his time and holidays with. Marcelino joined the United States Marine Corp. in August 1967 and in that time he was awarded multiple medals and ribbons for his service overseas in Vietnam. Many will remember him as a quiet man, who was very active in his local American Legion and Masonic lodge where he will be greatly missed.
Services for Marcelino Estrada will begin on Thursday March 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. where he will be laid to rest with his wife, Berta.
Chapel to open at 8:45 a.m. at Camero Funeral Home and Crematory in Von Ormy, Texas.
