Manuel J. Vasquez's Obituary
Manuel J. Vasquez, born February 18, 1934 in Brownsville, Texas passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 83 years. Mr. Vasquez is preceded in death by his sons, Gaspar Vasquez and Vincent Vasquez, sister, Concha Vasquez, and brother, Ignacio Vasquez. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Casilda C. Vasquez; sons, Ramon Vasquez (Carmen), Jesus Vasquez, Raul Vasquez (Karen), Esteban Vasquez (Christina) Abraham Vasquez (Gabriella) and Omar J. Vasquez (Shirley); daughters, Anita Rodriguez (Lalo), Lisa Vasquez, Linda Alvarado (Clemente) and Marizza Gonzalez (Alvaro); brothers, Pablo Vasquez, Felipe Vasquez, Santos Vasquez, Juan Vasquez, and Carlos Vasquez; sister, Maria Luisa Ortiz; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; also nephews, nieces, and other relatives, as well as many friends. Mr. Vasquez was a hard working man who loved his family. He enjoyed traveling and hunting. He also liked to watch western movies and western television shows such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza. He loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held Monday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel.
