Mackie Pete Carpenter's Obituary
Mackie Pete Carpenter, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Mr. Carpenter is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Austin Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter is loved and missed by those who survived him beginning with his loving wife, Celeta Carpenter; children, Michelle Carpenter, Jeff Carpenter, Justin Carpenter, Ladonna Carpenter-Trawick; step-children, Arthur L. Jennings III, and Robyn Yglesias; brother, Wayne Carpenter and his wife Gwen Carpenter; and 11 grandchildren.
The committal service will be held on January 3, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. at For Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209. Mr. Carpenter was born in Springhill, LA on February 17, 1947. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years and became a lifetime member of the VFW Post 9174. He was a business owner for 8 years. He also proudly worked for the United States Postal Service for 15 years and was retired for 12 years. Services and Care under the direction of Camero Funeral Home at City Base.
