Lydia L. Hernandez, born August 06, 1936 to Lorenzo Leal and Carolina Guerra Leal in Poteet, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her Husband, Castulo Hernandez. She is survived by Daughters, Yolanda Garcia; Irene Escobar(Joe); Anita Ramos(Frank); Grand-children, Michael Anthony Faz; Veronica Garcia; Mike Welch; Desire Escobar Leon(Andrew); Moriah Escobar; Trey Alaniz; Evita Escobar; Diego Garza; Auriella Perez; Katie and Larry Martinez; Erik Ramos; Tia Ramos and Cassandra Ramos; as well as 15 Great grandchildren. Mrs. Hernandez’s favorite thing to do was spend time outdoors with her plants and gardening. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Camero Funeral Home Chapel . A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday Morning at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Jourdanton, Texas. The family would also like to acknowledge and give a special thanks to Michael Anthony Faz for the extra love and care that was shown to Lydia during her difficult time of need.
