Despite having only, a 3rd grade level education, our beloved father was a good, strong, and hardworking man. He worked as a migrant worker for many years, fought forest fires, worked in construction, and operated machinery at a bean and sugar company. Due to a car accident, retirement came early with Amalgamated Sugar Company after 10 years of employment. Lucio loved to fly to and from Idaho and Texas. One can say that half his heart was in Idaho and the other half was in Texas. Also, he loved and enjoyed watching old western shows and football (his favorite team "The Dallas Cowboys"), playing solitaire on his phone, going to casinos, scratching off Loteria tickets and buying football pots.
We are forever grateful for our get togethers where he shared his childhood memories, life experiences, listening and dancing to his kind of old Tejano and Norteno music. He is being missed immensely by those who love him dearly.
