Lois Jean Blacketer's Obituary
Lois Jean Blacketer, 85, passed away October 25, 2018. She went peacefully at home after an extended period of deteriorating health. She was a proud housewife and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Gerald Blacketer and her son Brian Patrick Blacketer. Lois was born in Ogden, UT to Roy and Lea Phipps. Lois married the love of her life, Gerry as he was known until his death in 2007. She is survived by 7 children, Jerry Lee Blacketer, Mark Allen Blacketer and wife Annette, Pamela Ann Wahl and husband Larry, Steven Paul Blacketer and wife Cindy, Richard Dean Blacketer, Victoria Jean Plutzer and husband Scott and Roney Joseph Blacketer and wife Audrey. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 between 4:00pm and 9:00pm at Alamo Brooks Funeral Home at 3706 South WW White Road, San Antonio, Texas 78222.
