Juanita C. Fernandez's Obituary
Juanita C. Fernandez was born July 10, 1933 in Prairie Lea, Texas - Caldwell County to Antonio Carrasco and Teresa Arsizo Carrasco and was called home on January 2, 2021 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her mother Teresa A. Carrasco, her father Antonio Carrasco and her late husband Juan G. Fernandez. She is also preceded in death by two grandchildren Ariel Danielle Fernandez and Florentino John Fernandez Chapa, one great-grand son Roberto Fernandez. She is survived by her daughters Beatrice C. Fernandez, Angelita C. Fernandez, Victoria F. Mayorga and Rose Mary F. Saldivar (Husband Jose Angel Saldivar) Sons, Frank C. Fernandez (Wife Irene Fernandez) and Juan C. Fernandez Jr. (Wife Cynthia Luebano). She had 17 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 7 great-great and 4 step grandchildren. She also had numerous nieces, nephews , cousins and friends. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and unconditionally. Mrs. Fernandez was a dedicated wife and mother. Always made sure they had what they needed.
She enjoyed spending time sitting outside enjoying the day, watering her plants, and grass. She also enjoyed vacationing with her husband and children. Her interest and hobbies in her younger years were making flowers out of angel hair material and crocheting. She loved lottery tickets, the Houston Astros and the San Antonio spurs.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and condolences. Not only were you part of mom's life, but you are in ours as well. She will be truly missed.
