Juanita B. Badillo's Obituary
Juanita Benavidez Badillo (Tia Juanie as we called her), daughter to Felix and Josepha Guzman Benavidez was born on May 5, 1933, (although she stated she was born on May 2, 1933) in Charlotte, Texas. She departed this life on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the age of 91.
She married Antonio Badillo at a young age and they were married until his death in 1992. They were blessed with a large family of nephews and nieces, grand nephews and nieces and great grand nephews and nieces. Although she conceived 6 times, for unknown reasons, she miscarried each and every one of them.
Tia had seven siblings, preceded in death by six, Adan Benavidez (Anita, wife), Amparo Benavidez Camarillo (Jose, husband) Avelardo Benavidez (Isabel, wife), Maria Benavidez Rodriguez, Ambrosio Benavidez (Natalia, wife), and Arturo Benavidez (Eva, wife). She is survived by her sister Josepha Benavidez Gonzales.
Tia Juanie had a strong commitment to her Faith and lived her life by her morals and love for her family. She will be missed tremendously and fondly remembered for her independence , strong will, great sense of humor, humble love and the support she shared with us all.
Tia, thank you for the memories you shared and created. You will be forever remembered, forever missed.
Rest in Peace
