Juana Maria Ponce's Obituary
Juana Maria Ponce, born October 3, 1953 to Eugenio Ponce and Sofia Plata Ponce passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 surrounded by her family at the age of 65 years. Mrs. Ponce is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Constantino Tristan Coronado; sons, Everardo Benito Tristan and Juan Manuel Escamilla; daughters, Abigal Hernandez and Olga Rangel; brothers, Eugenio Ponce, Felipe De Jesus Ponce, Juan Guadalupe Ponce, and Martin Ponce; sisters, Maria Mercedes Reyes, Norma Patricia Santana, and Maria Isabel Martinez; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Ponce was a giving, dedicated wife and mother who loved spending time with family. She enjoyed shopping with her children and grandchildren and her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved scratch tickets and was attending ESL classes, learning English. She had a loving smile and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at El Carmen Catholic Church, 18555 Leal Rd., San Antonio. Everyone is to meet at Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Camero Funeral Home.
