Juana Martinez Romero's Obituary
Juana Martinez Romero born December 21, 1941 to Jesus Martinez Magana and Maria Zambrano Martinez in Mexico passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 78 years. Mrs. Romero was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Alfredo Romero Mendoza and son, Juan Luis Romero Martinez. She is survived by her sons, Jose Romero Martinez, Jorge Romero Martinez, Alfredo Romero Martinez, and Sergio Romero Martinez; daughters, Eufemia Romero Martinez, Margarita Romero Martinez, and Aurora Romero Martinez; brothers, Jose Martinez Zambrano, Antonio Martinez Zambrano and Martin Martinez Zambrano; sisters, Margarita Martinez Zambrano, Guadalupe Martinez Zambrano, Celia Martinez Zambrano and Rosa Martinez Zambrano; 26 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Mrs. Romero loved spending time with her family. She was known to be strong willed and had a firm character. She enjoyed gardening and playing bingo. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be recited on Thursday Evening at the Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will depart on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 535 New Laredo Hwy. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.camerofuneralhome.com
