Juan R. Velasquez Sr.'s Obituary
Juan R. Velasquez, Sr. born October 20, 1953 to Venancio Velasquez and Francisca Ruiz Velasquez passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the age of 66 years surrounded by his family. Mr. Velasquez was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Frausto Velasquez. He is survived by his son, Juan Velasquez, Jr. (Leslie); daughters, Maria Guadalupe Fernandez (Cesar) and Lucy Velasquez; grandchildren, Jaclyn D. Velasquez, Juan Velasquez, III, Nyla A. Velasquez, Diego G. Velasquez, Joshua M. Fernandez, Yasmine M. Fernandez, and Jacob A. Fernandez; 7 brothers, 1 sister; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Velasquez was very faithful to his love of God and to the Church as well as being a loving, devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed gardening and had a beautiful manicured yard, he was well known for landscaping the grounds of St. Peter The Fisherman Church. He also enjoyed painting, often gifting his art to family members. He loved to go fishing and liked to Bar B Que for all. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Visitation will begin on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held on Monday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
