Juan Manuel Reyes' Obituary
Juan “Johnny” M. Reyes was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico. He was 61 years of age and made San Antonio, Texas his home. Juan was a fighter who passed away on May 30, 2018 after his long heart battle. Juan was a medical marvel as he surpassed all expectations as he was his own doctor most of his life. He immigrated to the United States at a very young age to Arizona where he met his wife Betty. He became a small business owner of Johnny’s Good Roofing.
Juan is preceded by his father Eulalio Reyes, his mother Alicia Perez and his son SSGT Juan M. Reyes Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Betty M. Reyes, his children Gabriel A. Reyes, Alicia R. Alvarez, Michelle Reyes and Rey R. Reyes. Loved by his brothers Eulalio, Jose G., Jose A., and Luis and his sisters Teresa, Rosario, Sylvia, Bertha and Dora. Juan was adored immensely by 19 grandchildren and 2 expected great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Juan was strong, brave, a jokester and a hard-working man. He fulfilled his duties as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, in-law, uncle, friend and boss. He taught us to “Just do it no matter what” and “Never give up.”
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Camero Funeral Home 20567 Hwy 16 South, Von Ormy TX. 78073. Rosary Service will begin at 7 pm.
Funeral Service will be at First Memorial Park Cemetery Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 9 am. Burial will proceed at 10 am.
