Juan M. De Leon's Obituary
Juan M. De Leon, age 67, passed away peacefully and was called home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Known to many as John, and lovingly called Tito by his grandchildren, Juan was born on November 25, 1957, in Saspamco, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father Augustin N. De Leon, mother Minerva Maldonado De Leon, sister Diana M. De Leon, brother Robert M. De Leon, and nephew Brian De Leon.
Juan is survived by his siblings: Yolanda Gonzalez (Frank), Emelda De Leon, Edward De Leon, David De Leon (Rose), Vidal “Billy” De Leon, and Augustin De Leon Jr.
He is also survived by his children: John De Leon (Amy), Roxanne Bocanegra, Bibiana De Leon, and Robert Ortiz (Vanessa); his grandchildren: Desirey De Leon, Margarita De Leon, Erin Robledo, Ashley Matelski, Britney Morales, Ileana Robledo, Jon Paul Uresti, Kristen Matelski, Raymond Bocanegra III, and Joel Sanchez; and his great-grandchildren: Elena De Leon, Lennon Gonzales, Mariana Espinosa, Josiah Espinosa, Joseph Espinosa Jr., Randy Torres Jr., Anayeli, and Mateo De Leon. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
Juan was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend who will forever live in our hearts. He loved dancing and spending time with his family. Among the many things he enjoyed were cheering for his Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs, barbequing, and spending time with friends at Destiny’s and The Other Woman.
Juan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
