Josifina R. Dominguez's Obituary
Today we gather and grieve in the departure of a great, loving, beautiful soul. Josifina R Dominguez, Known as Josie to many. Josie leaves behind beloved husband Manuel Dominguez and three loving children. Annette Dominguez, Elizabeth Dominguez, and Eric Dominguez. Josie was a well loved and cared for daughter, mother, sister and cousin that left a mark on every single soul she came in contact with. Her passing on January 8th 2021 was not the end of her life but the end to her journey here on earth. As she is guided into the gates of heaven we all will miss the moments we had with her. All the laughs, all the tears, all the adventures and all the obstacles we conquered along side her.
My Mother was so strong and lead life with her heart. She was hilarious, loving and caring. Always thinking of her grandchildren. Always! I remember her always asking when we will give her more and when those days came. Oh better believe she was over filled with happiness. Even with having 13 grandchildren she wanted more. And more. So we gave her 2 great grand children. She had a way with babies that no one could match. The love that flowed thru her would comfort everyone she held. All of her grand babies felt this love, and will always know their grandma was one of a kind and most loving.
To all the grandchildren. Grandma will always love you, guide you and protect you. Look deep and keep her within your hearts and she will always hold you tight. Go forth knowing she looks over you and is with you. When you may feel weak let her be your strength. God knows she was strong enough for all of us combined.
That same love leading into her brothers and sister. Always so close no matter how far apart they may have been. Distance was only a measurement, but never a obstacle of her love for her brothers and sisters. Every special event, every holiday was met with love across the whole family, always wether it was at her house or one of the other siblings. It was always love across the whole family.
Growing up seeing my mother with my father always showed me what a great strong woman was. Always supporting my father in His decisions and choices in life. She always took care of him wether he liked it or not. His physical health, financial and emotion, she was always by his side. Ups and downs a true definition of soul mate. Regardless of how stubborn our father was, she was there.
She will always be there.
My mother was so special. She was the kind of person that lead with her heart. She accepted everyone for who they were with no judgment. She always had her arms open to everyone that needed, the type to always be there for anyone she could. She made sure her children never felt alone. We never felt like she wasn’t there. Even on this day she is not here with us on earth I still feel she’s with me. As I hope you all feel. She will always be with us.
As she would want, even on her death bed, what she wanted was peace that we were taken care of and we will be ok. We may not feel ok that she is gone but we are more than good cause she is with us in our hearts and our minds. We carry her with us everyday and everywhere we go and in caring actions we take. Remember her for all this and know she is always with us.
To my sisters. We must stay strong, keep sound mind and know that our mother always loved us and was there for us and she always will be. She will never leave us as we are representation of her and we are her legacy. Mind, blood and soul we are all bound to her.
God bless our mother and guide her to her mother in heaven.
We will always love you and carry your memory, with so so much love, you will be missed, but never forgotten. As your last words were. “I am ready”. “Tell my kids I love them”
I am ready. And we love you as well. We are ready, Not to say “goodbye” but “see you later” as one day we will be reunited again.
“Your wings were ready, but our hearts weren’t”
