Josephine Valdez Lockamy's Obituary
Josephine Valdez Lockamy, born in Mathis, Texas on June 3, 1950 to Enrique and Teresa Valdez passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 surrounded by her family in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Lockamy was preceded in death by her daughter, Yolanda Santos; mother, Teresa Valdez; father, Enrique Valdez, granddaughter, Josie Lee Gonzales and grandson, Gabriel Gonzales, and sisters, Paula Mendoza and Dora Adame. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Landeros (Rudy), Carmen Lockamy, and Kathryn Patteson (Derek); son in law, Roger Santos; sister, Betty Vera; brothers, Agustin Adame (Maria), and Adan Adame (Yolanda); sisters, Eva Rosales, and Naomi Acuna (Jose);17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Mrs. Lockamy enjoyed spending time playing board games with her grandchildren as well as cooking, often looking up new recipes on her computer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Camero Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Sunday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
