Josefina Alvarado Lopez's Obituary
Josefina Alvarado Lopez, age 78, of San Antonio, TX, was called to her heavenly home on May 10, 2024, in Cypress, TX. Born on August 29, 1945, Josefina lived a life marked by deep faith, boundless generosity, and a steadfast commitment to her community.
A devout Christian, Josefina's love for the Lord was the foundation of her existence. She was an active and cherished member of her church, where her joyous worship and fervent prayer were sources of inspiration to many. Her belief in the power of prayer was such that she was moved to intercede for others till her last moments, leaving behind a legacy of spiritual devotion.
Her benevolence extended well beyond the church's walls. Josefina's home was a haven for those in need, a testament to her conviction that to give was to truly live. She met adversity with grace, always managing to find a word of encouragement or a verse of scripture to lift the spirits of those around her. Her laughter was a refuge, her counsel a treasure, and her ability to see past faults to offer love and prayer, a blessing to all.
Josefina's love for her family and friends was a fierce and protective force. She taught by example that love heals, forgives, and unites. In her presence, no one was a stranger; everyone was family.
The loss of such a pillar of compassion will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Yet in mourning, they also celebrate a life impeccably lived and a woman who exemplified the virtue of Christlike love.
As Josefina Alvarado Lopez is laid to rest, her spirit of caring and community lives on. Her memory will be honored by those who walk in the footsteps of the kindness she showed. May she find peace in the arms of her Savior.
