Jose "Mike" Tijerina's Obituary
Jose “Mike” Tijerina was called home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2023 at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Rea Tijerina, siblings, Salome Tijerina, Fabian Tijerina, Minerva Tijerina, Raul Tijerina. He is survived by his son Mike Tijerina, daughters Minerva Diaz (husband Esteban), Monica Zuniga (husband Jesse), grandchildren; Stevie, Valerie, Emilie, Maraylie and Maylee, great grandchildren; Steve, Kaley and Jacob, siblings; Micalea Martinez, Patsy T. Rivera, Gloria Calbillo, Jay Tijerina, numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives. He enjoyed fishing, visiting family and friends and scratch off lottery tickets. Jose is loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 3-8pm. with a rosary to be recited at 6pm. On Friday, November 3, 2023, a chapel service will be held at 10am. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
