Jose Martinez Sarabia of Poteet, Texas passed away April 26, 2022, at the age of 72.
On March 20, 1950, Jose was born to Antonia Martinez Sarabia and Cruz Ybarra Sarabia in San Antonio, Texas. Jose is preceded in death by his Parents, Antonia Martinez Sarabia and Cruz Ybarra Sarabia. Jose is survived by his wife of 55 years, Josefina G. Sarabia; Sons, Jose Antonio Sarabia, Juan Michael Sarabia, and Jay Gregory Sarabia; Daughters, Jeanette Chincarni, Genevieve Sarabia, and Julie Cruz; Brothers, Francisco Sarabia, Juan Sarabia, and Ernesto Sarabia; Sisters Cathy Castro, and Socorro Ramos; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews as well as his beloved chihuahua, Hersey. Jose last worked at Shears Beauty Salon where he retired after 28 years in the industry. In his free time, you could have found Jose spending quality time with his family. Jose was a jack of all trades you could often find him tending to his garden, sewing, crocheting, painting, and drawing.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer service starting at 11:00 a.m. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home.
