Jose Heriberto Rios' Obituary
Jose Heriberto Rios born July 23, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Heriberto Rios and Olga Ballesteros Rios passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the age of 67 years. Mr. Rios was preceded in death by his mother, Olga Ballesteros Rios. He is survived by his wife, Christine C. Rios; daughters, Amy Marie Rios, Lenny Ann Rios, Angelica Maria Gallardo Rios; son, Joe Heriberto Rios, Jr.; father, Heriberto Rios; sister, Anna Gonzales Rios, brothers, Jaime Rios, and Edward Rios; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Rios was a loving husband, father, and family man. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was generous, had a giving heart, a hard worker and made friends wherever he went. Mr. Rios was the owner of Rios Barbacoa and Rios Meat Market. He had a passion for music and enjoyed being a part of the Tejano Music scene, promoting and managing such bands as Gary Hobbs and others during the nineties. He was a rancher at heart and raised horses. He was the owner of SAFE soccer fields. Mr. Rios was considered a pillar of the Southside Community. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary Service will be held on Wednesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home Chapel.
