Jose Gurrola Ramirez's Obituary
Jose Gurrola Ramirez born on March 27, 1942 to Alfonso G. Ramirez and Enriqueta Gurrola Ramirez in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso G. and Enriqueta Gurrola Ramirez, brothers and sister, and sons, David Ramirez and Adrian Ramirez. He is survived by the mother of his three children, Olivia Garnica Ramirez; his daughter and son in law, Virginia Ramirez Arrambide and Mario Arrambide; son and daughter in law, Jose D. Ramirez and Christina Valdez; brother, Luis Ramirez; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; also numerous nephews, nieces, and other family members. Mr. Ramirez was a family man and loved everyone. Throughout his life, Mr. Ramirez worked as a migrant worker with his parents. He had a strong work ethic which allowed him to gain employment with the NEISD School District retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. He shared a love of plants and gardening. He also loved his companion, his beloved dog, Chuy. Mr. Ramirez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home at City Base. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Camero Funeral Home at City Base Chapel. Burial will follow at San Lorenzo Cemetery, San Antonio. Care has been entrusted to Camero Funeral Home at City Base.
