Jose Herrera Leon's Obituary
Jose Herrera Leon entered rest on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
Mr. Herrera Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Candelario Herrera and Luisa Leon; brothers, Juvena, Eduardo “Lalo”, Antonio, and Alfonso Herrera; sisters, Martha and Maria Herrera; nephews, George, Poncho, and Raul Herrera; and nieces, Chole and Teresa Herrera. He is survived and missed by his loving wife, Enriqueta Castro; sisters, Juanita Flores and Josephina Herrera; daughters, Anna, Karen, and Veronica Herrera; and grandchildren, Briana and Mateo Herrera.
The family will be receiving friends for visitation on August 19, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Alamo Brooks Funeral Home, 3706 South WW White Road, San Antonio, Texas 78222. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday, August 20, 2018 with a Mass of Resurrection at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 236 E. Petaluma Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78221 at 10:00 a.m. It was Mr. Herrera Leon’s wish to be cremated. Services and care under the direction of Alamo Brooks Cremations.
