Jose M. Garza's Obituary
Jose M. Garza,was born to parents Gonzalo and Secorro Garza in Monterrey, Mexico on December 10, 1941 and he passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 81 years.
Jose was preceded in death by both parents, Gonzalo Garza and Seccoro Mandujano; brother Gonzalo Garza, Jr. and his sister, Secorro Garza.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sylvia Garza. Jose and Sylvia first met in 1974 and the officially were wed by the church in 1990. He was a hard worker and spent 24 years with the Southwest School district here in San Antonio as a plumber. He is also survived by his children, Michael(Diana) Minjares and Grace(Oscar) Ybarra; grandchildren, Alexis Ybarra, Allyssa Ybarra, Anissa Ybarra, Gabriella Minjares and Michael Minjares, Jr. Jose also had 7 great- grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
He will be lovingly remembered by all those who knew and cared for him.
